Mary Ruth Cole: The 87-year-old of Dallas died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. in the Hiram Chapel. Interment at Cherokee Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

John Joseph McLaughlin: The 67-year-old Powder Springs resident died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, at Bellamy Funeral Homes Powder Springs at 1 p.m. The family will receive visitors Saturday, Aug. 20, from noon to 1 p.m.

Harold D. Buford: Oct. 23, 1927 - Aug. 13, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Voyles officiating, with interment to follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral home Monday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Howard Frost: Oct. 16, 1948 - Aug. 14, 2011. Per the wishes of Mr. Frost, he was cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Melva Lauer: July 28, 1959 - Aug. 14, 2011. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 17,  at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with the Reve. Tom Price officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Clark Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m.

James Thomas Moore: Dec. 6, 1971 - Aug. 14, 2011. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Roland Yarborough and the Rev. Richard Rollins officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Marty Campbell, Mike Steele, Matt Fuller, Bubba Sheffield, Randall Campbell and Michael Morris will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from noon to 8 p.m.
