Omie Lois Upchurch: The 93-year-old Upchurch of Douglasville died July 11, 2011. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, at 2 p.m. at Light House Baptist Church with Dr. John Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, July 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bellamy Funeral Homes Hiram. Upchurch will lie in state Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church.

Bobby Spivey: June 14, 1943 - July 13, 2011. Services will be held Friday, July 15, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Benson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Frances Lee Gamel: Jan. 27, 1932 - July 11, 2011. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth McDaniel and Pastor Keith Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Gann Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Jean Ellen Lawhorn: Oct. 13, 1939 - July 13, 2011. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Morris officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Ivey, Chad Mozley, Josh Whisner, Daniel Christie and Chris Keever. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 14, from 4 to 9 p.m., and Friday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
