DALLAS, GA — Deep patching work continues this week on State Route 61 in Paulding County, meaning lane closures will be slowing down traffic in the area.A maintenance crew has resumed work Tuesday morning on repairing and patching deteriorating asphalt spots on the highway, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.Work will continue daily, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through Friday.The project, and the lane closures it requires, are weather permitting and subject to change, the DOT said in a news release.Image via Shutterstock
