Fatal Paulding Hit And Run: Deputies, Troopers Search For Truck

Paulding County Sheriff's deputies and State Troopers are searching for a truck involved in a fatal hit and run that happened in November.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Paulding County Sheriff's deputies and State Troopers are searching for a truck involved in a fatal hit and run that happened Nov. 19.

At approximately 7:09 p.m., Paulding County E-911 received a call regarding a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on GA 120 near the intersection of Scoggins Road. Upon arrival, Paulding County Deputies and Georgia State Patrol Troopers located the deceased body of a woman along the roadside. The woman had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Investigating deputies and troopers located a right side mirror housing that was near the victim. The mirror housing contained numbers that were identified through the investigation. The mirror was from a 2010 thru 2018 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty pickup truck. The mirror housing was from the right side of the truck.
