Hiram, Georgia – July 2, 2015– Tomorrow, July 3rd, the City of Hiram is welcoming residents and visitors to come celebrate our nation’s independence with a boom – or as we call it, “Red, White and Boom”. Ben Strickland, Sr. Memorial Park will open at 5:00 for the “Red, White and Boom” and festivities will officially kick-off at 6:00 pm.

The park opens at 5:00 and admission is free. Prior to the fireworks show, there will be vendors located throughout the park offering food and refreshments for sale. While we prefer our residents and visitors patronize the local vendors and support the non-profits that will also be selling beverages, coolers with personal food and beverages are welcome. There will be no alcoholic beverages sold or permitted within the City Park. This year’s Independence Day celebration will also feature live local entertainment from West Georgia Arts Conservatory on the outdoor amphitheater stage.
