Fund Set Up To Help Injured Paulding County Firefighter

Firefighter Curtis Wilson was injured when he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday.

Donations are being accepted to help a Paulding County firefighter who was injured when he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday.

The Paulding County Fire & EMA said on Facebook firefighter Curtis Wilson was injured while working his part-time position with the Haralson County Fire Department.

“Firefighter Wilson suffered numerous injuries and will be unable to work during his rehabilitation period,” the agency posted.

A website has been set up to assist Wilson in his recovery. Contributions can be made through North American Blue Police & Fire Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity.

“100% of the contributions will go directly to Curtis and his family. Please keep Curtis and his family in your thoughts and prayers,” the sheriff’s office posted.
