Funeral Announcements: Feb. 29

Alanna Kiser: The 40-year-old Douglasville resident died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 2 p.m. at Bellamy Chapel Hiram with the Rev. Craig Boyanton officiating.

Lowell Curtis Dodd: Dec. 3, 1929 - Feb. 28, 2012.

Funeral services for the Dallas resident will be held Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Turner and Dr. Johnny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Brown officiating and Joel King, Shane Dodd, Eric Baggett, Jerome Augustine, Nic Womack and Eric Morrow serving as pallbearers

Jared Augustine, Colt King and Brad Sargent will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Jimmy Hamby: Jan. 29, 1947 - Feb. 27, 2012. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Cleve Huston Cordell: May 13, 1932 - Feb. 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29, at noon at the New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. Vermon Parmer, the Rev. Sam Shipp and the Rev. Dwayne Hewett officiating. Interment will follow in the Kennesaw Memorial Park. Jay Ellis, Larry Cordell, Brian Ellis, Stephen Ellis, Michael Jones, Randall KuyKendall, Robert Todd and Justyn Cordell will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. until departure in procession for the church.

Billy Joe Dodd: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Seay and the Rev. Curtis Turner officiating. A eulogy will be given by Jeff Dodd. Jeff Dodd, Mike Mauldin, Lloyd Forsyth, Dennis Fields, Steve Butler and Jeff Jenkins will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Dallas Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family has requested to please omit flowers.
