Thomas Alan Hancock: Aug. 14, 1958 - Jan. 28, 2012. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. from Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs, with the Rev. C. Snyder Turner and Brother Brian Busby officiating, with interment to follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home Monday, Jan. 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, you may make contributions to Calvary Childrens Home, 1430 Lost Mtn Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Lena Mae Waits: Oct. 1, 1948 - Jan. 28, 2012. Funeral services for Lena Mae Cole Waits, affectionately known as "Preacher," will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Miller and the Rev. Butch Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Perry Cordell. Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Waits, Mark Waits, Dustin Gore, Todd Gurley, Kevin Waits, Buddy Gore and James Gore. Interment will follow at New Hope Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 30, from 3 to 9 p.m.; and Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
