Debra A. Davenport: The 53-year-old Powder Springs resident died Nov. 26, 2011. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. at Bellamy Chapel Powder Springs. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Horace Buren Hicks Jr.: Feb. 11, 1934 - Nov. 23, 2011. Memorial services for the resident of Greenville, Ga., formerly of Paulding County, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Benson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.

Vernon “Speedy” Seals: Oct. 26, 1926 - Nov. 26, 2011. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jim Burdette and Charles Bice officiating. Pallbearers will include Dustin Seals, Drew Seals, Jud Tibbitts, Larry Brown, Randy Postell, Kenneth Aiken and Mike Garner. Music will be proved by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Interment will follow at the New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
