Sarah Akin Meers: The 70-year-old Dallas resident died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at Bellamy Chapel Hiram. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Monday, Oct. 24, from noon to 2 p.m. Cremation to follow service.

Mercy Ann Nembhard: The 95-year-old Smyrna resident died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.; instate at 1 p.m. at Trinity Chapel. The Rev. Dwayne Pace will officiate. Interment at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

Deward Oscar McTyre: Jan. 27, 1920 - Oct. 22, 2011. Funeral services for the Powder Springs resident will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Benson Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Sims will officiate. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Peggy Ferry: Feb. 16, 1920 - Oct. 21, 2011. The family will gather at Crestlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at noon for a graveside service with Jeff Eberhart officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. There will be only one visitation service where the family will receive friends at the funeral home. This will be held Monday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Peggy G. Ford: April 11, 1959 - Oct. 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Eric Ford officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. A private interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m.
