Mercy Ann Nembhard: The 95-year-old Smyrna resident died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.; instate at 1 p.m. at Trinity Chapel. The Rev. Dwayne Pace will officiate. Interment at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

Deward Oscar McTyre: Jan. 27, 1920 - Oct. 22, 2011. Funeral services for the Powder Springs resident will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Benson Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Sims will officiate. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery.

Peggy Ferry: Feb. 16, 1920 - Oct. 21, 2011. The family will gather at Crestlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at noon for a graveside service with Jeff Eberhart officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart.

Peggy G. Ford: April 11, 1959 - Oct. 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Eric Ford officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. A private interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m.

James Dale Rakestraw: Jan. 27, 1942 - Oct. 22, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Cole and the Rev. Todd Tibbitts officiating. Pallbearers will include Bobby Rakestraw, Scott Rakestraw, Sammy Freeman, Wendell Hardy, Benji Dockery, Rickey Rakestraw, David Walraven and Brad Ballew. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. until time of service.
