Funeral Announcements: Oct. 7

Joyce Floyd: The 78-year-old Dallas resident, formerly of Cobb County, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. at Bellamy Chapel Hiram. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Park Cemetery.

Louise Cooper Paris: Sept. 22, 1922 - Oct. 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Durwood Perry officiating. Interment will follow in the Dallas Memory Gardens with Preston Barnett, John Arnold, Brandon Paris, Derrick Paris, Chuch Mabry and Keith Bowman serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Jimmy Earl Scott: Feb. 27, 1945 - Oct. 4, 2011. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Curtis Turner officiating. The ashes will be interred in Paulding Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. until the service time.
