HIRAM, GA — Motorists were being urged to avoid Hiram Sudie Road in Paulding County on Sunday morning due to a gas leak.The Hiram Police Department reported that the leak was accompanied by utility damage, suggesting there had been either a wreck of some sort or, possibly, that a work crew had damaged a gas line.The impacted area was Hiram Sudie Road, from Old Sudie Road to Bill Carruth Parkway. The roadway was fully shut down during the overnight hours.Latest reports suggested it could be afternoon before the roadway was cleared.Image via Shutterstock
