Georgia Weather Forecast: Warm, With More Showers This Week
in metro Atlanta, we'll see highs in the upper 60s, but they'll come with a chance of rain most days this work week.

ATLANTA, GA — In two words, the weather forecast for metro Atlanta this week is warm and wet.
Our faux spring will continue, as temperatures pop back up into the high 60s every day throughout this work week. But along with the mild temperatures will come a chance for rain on several days.
Monday night, Tuesday and Friday are our best chance to see precipitation. So, keep an umbrella handy, but enjoy the pleasant climate outdoors when the rain isn't coming down.

Here's a look at this week's weather forecast for metro Atlanta from the National Weather Service:
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 67. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. A 30 percent chance of showers Monday night, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Tuesday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 67. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm Tuesday night before 1 a.m, then a chance of showers. Low around 48. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Clear, with a low around 41 Wednesday night.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 67. A 20 percent chance of showers Thursday night. Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. A 20 percent chance of showers Friday night. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.
