Get Free Pizza In Paulding For Lunch Monday After NCAA Upset

Little Caesars promised free lunch if a No. 16 seed beat a No. 1 and, as unlikely as it was, University of Maryland-Baltimore County did.

Even if you're not a big basketball fan, you probably like free pizza. Well, on Monday, a hstoric upset involving the former means everybody gets the latter.

As the NCAA men's basketball tournament got started, Little Caesars launched its "If Crazy Happens" promotion — promising everyone free pizza for lunch if a lowly No. 16 seed in the tournament beat a No. 1. Sure enough, tiny University of Maryland in Baltimore County toppled the top-ranked Virginia Cavaliers, 74-54, in the first round.

It was the first time in college basketball history that No. 16 had beaten No. 1 in the men's tournament. And, true to its word, Little Caesars is paying up. From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, April 2, everybody in the country can get a free lunch at Little Caesars.

Anyone who goes to a participating restaurant during that time and mentions the offer will get a free lunch combo. The lunch combo consists of a four-slice, deep-dish pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi product of your choice.

Be forewarned, though — Little Caesars is expecting its biggest crowds ever for the promotion, so you might want to get there early. There will be a limit of one free meal per family, with no substitutions. Check for your nearest Little Caesars here, or take a look at some local locations below.
