Get Out and Run to Benefit Paulding Schools on March 29th

Local students and their families plan to turn out on March 29th to run for a good cause – the Paulding County Schools.  The UnitedHealthcare Paulding 5K – Pep Rally Run and Kid Run – is held bi-annually to provide funding for the scholarships and school grants awarded by Paulding Education Foundation.  These funds support projects in local schools and current fundraisers are dedicated to supporting music program and technology.  The race starts at the Silver Comet Trail in Hiram at 8 am.  Registration will be held up until the race day at http://paulding5k.eventbrite.com.  Students of the Paulding County schools run for free.

Runners will be able to run the 5K/1K and then wrap up the morning with FREE BAGEL and JUICE.  They are encouraged to stay for awards even if they didn’t place because UnitedHealthcare will give away a free tablet.  Paid registrants receive a shirt and 5K runners will be chip timed. Free student registrations will not be chip timed and do not include a shirt. Free runners do not need to pick up a registration packet.
