Hiram Council Adopts Resolution to Oppose Gas Sales Tax Legislation

The City of Hiram Council delayed a vote the Downtown Sewer Service, Hiram Lift Station project and Hiram Central Wastewater Pipeline project at a special-called meeting Tuesday night. The vote is delayedf until the next regular Council meeting on March 3.

The Council also adopted a resolution to oppose any legislation to transfer local motor fuel sales tax proceeds from the local government to the state.
