At about 5:49 a.m., the Paulding County Sheriff's Office was called to 4408 Hiram Sudie Rd. Once there, they found the body of a woman identified as Beth Harris, 39. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Detectives on the scene spoke to Harris's husband, 36-year-old Charles Harris, who sheriff's office spokesman Sgt. Ashley Henson said has cooperated with investigators.

Henson said detectives on the case, including Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents, are looking for a man who may have been at the home at the time of Harris's death. Derek Jess Renfroe, 32, rented a room at the home, according to Henson.
