Jersey Mike's Subs To Open in Hiram

HIRAM, GA — Jersey Mike's Subs is opening a location in Hiram.

The fast-casual franchise with more than 1,500 locations nationwide will open on Wednesday, August 31, at 4373 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy.

The local franchise owners, Chrystal and Van Jakes, will be holding a grand-opening celebration and fundraiser from August 31-September 4 to support the Hiram High School Football Booster Club.

The restaurant is circulating 7,500 coupons in the community, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 donation to the club.

"I look forward to bringing the authentic Jersey Mike’s sub sandwiches to the Hiram community," said Van Jakes.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $18 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 1.5 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.

This year, the company’s 6th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $4 million for 180 charities throughout the country.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide. In 2016, for the third year in a row, the company was named the fastest growing chain in the Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100, and continues to win best sub awards in virtually every market it enters.
