Woman With Dementia Found Outside Woods

Janet Otte, 81, was last seen on Monday, April 30, at her residence, 118 Colt Lane Dallas.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — The Paulding County Sheriff's Office has reported a missing elderly woman has been found. Janet Otte, 81, was reported missing Monday and she was found Tuesday.

Ms. Otte appears to be in good health, according to the Sheriff's Office. She came out of the woods to a residence off of Dandy Road and was lost and confused. The location where she was found is fairly close to where she lives.

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Dallas Police Department with a missing elderly person. Janet Otte, 81, was last seen on Monday, April 30, between 8:30 and 9 a.m. at her residence 118 Colt Lane Dallas, in the Holly Trail Subdivision off of Gun Range Road.

Otte suffers from dementia and has gone missing before.

Otte is described as having grey hair, is 5' 00" tall and heavy set. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a hot pink shirt.
