Memorial Day Weather: Clear Skies, Comfy Temps in Dallas, Hiram

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says the Memorial Day weekend in north Georgia is going to be pretty darn spectacular, with sunny skies, comfortable temps and only a very low chance of precipitation by Monday.

High temps will be in the high 70s to low 80s, and low temps will range from the mid-50s to low-60s.

The humidity will rise on Monday, the weather service said, bringing a 20-percent chance of isolated thunderstorms. (If you have outdoor plans, you might want to keep an eye on the sky, the weather service suggests)

Here’s the lowdown:

  • Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
  • Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 81. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
  • Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
  • Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65.
  • Memorial Day: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.
