Paulding County To Host 'Secure the Vote' Demonstration

The demo will give Paulding County voters a chance to see the new voting system and learn how it works, county officials said.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA—The Paulding County Board of Elections and Registration along with the Georgia Secretary of State plan to host a "Secure the Vote" voting system demonstration a week from now.

The office of the Board of Elections and Registration along with the Georgia Secretary of State will be hosting a demonstration of the new Dominion voting system on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020.

There will be two opportunities for the public to see the demonstration. The first demo will take place at 1 p.m. in the board of commissioners meeting room located on the second floor of the county administration building at 240 Constitution Blvd. in Dallas. The second demo will be held at 6 p.m. in the Hiram Municipal Annex located at 219 Main St. in Hiram.

According to county officials, the demo will give the citizens of Paulding County the opportunity to see the new voting system and learn how it works so that they will be better prepared prior to heading to the polls for the March 24, 2020 presidential preference primary.
