Paulding County Man Killed in Overnight Shooting
The victim was found dead in a ditch and had been riding his motorcycle when he was shot, authorities say.
DALLAS, GA —A Paulding County man was found dead in a ditch Friday after an overnight shooting, according to the sheriff's office.
The body of Ronald Chadwick Morgan, 31, was found in a ditch alongside Holly Springs Road in western Paulding County.
Sheriff's deputies were called at about 4:17 a.m. to a possible shooting in the area. They discovered Morgan's body and were able to determine that he was riding a motorcycle at the time he was shot.

A statement from the sheriff's office said Morgan lived in the area near where he was shot. It is believed that he was targeted personally, the statement says.
Detectives are asking anyone who has information about the shooting to call the sheriff's office criminal investigation division at 770-443-3015.
