Paulding Detectives Arrest Man For Child Exploitation

Detectives say Keith Denmon thought he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl.

DALLAS, GA — An area man is in jail after Paulding County authorities say he sent sexually explicit material to an undercover officer he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.

Keith Denmon, 48, of Canton, is being held without bond in the Paulding County Detention Center. He was arrested Saturday.

Denmon is charged with one count of child exploitation after the Paulding County Sheriff's Office says he "communicated sexually explicit material" with an officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.

The investigation was conducted by the Paulding sheriff's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to detectives, Denmon attends and possibly works at churches and schools in the metro Atlanta area.

Anyone who believes their child may have had contact with Denmon — either online or in person — is asked to contact Sgt. Lenny Carr of the Paulding County Sheriff's Office at 770-445-6105.
