Paulding Mother Asks For Help in Finding Who Killed Her Son
Cody Lane Bryant, 20, was shot and killed while he slept in February 2014 in his Paulding County home.

The mother of Cody Lane Bryant, the Paulding County man who was murdered in his sleep last year, is asking for the community’s help in bringing those responsible to justice.

Bryant was shot in the head in his home on Ivey Gulledge Road on Jan. 10, 2014.
In an open letter distributed by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Beverly Collum said the day her son was murdered changed her life forever.

Who Murdered Cody Bryant? Detectives Ask for Public’s Help
“Losing a child feels like losing a part of you,” she wrote. “The only thing that will get me through these difficult times is prayer.”

Collum also asked the community for donations to a reward fund to find Bryant’s killers — The Cody Bryant Fund at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.
The sheriff’s office said earlier this week there were no credible leads in the case.
