PCSD Names Fall High School Athletes of the Year

From PCSD’s “Athletic Adventures” newsletter

At the end of each sports season, Fall, Winter and Spring, the head coaches of the Paulding County School District nominate and vote for the Players of the Year in each sport.

For the Fall sports they selected a Player of the Year in Cross Country (male and female), Football, Softball
and Volleyball.

The Player of the Year awards will be presented at the December 9, 2014 meeting of the PCSD Board of Education. The following students were selected as the Player of the Year.

Cross Country

• Alyssa Sheffield, East Paulding
• Christian Nix, East Paulding

Football

• Kyle Banks, North Paulding

Softball

• Hannah Trombley, Paulding County

Volleyball

• Dasia Smith, Hiram
