Police Investigate Robberies at Dallas CVS, Hiram Walmart

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office released suspect images from the weekend robberies.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for the suspect, or suspects, in two armed robberies in the past week in Dallas and Hiram.

The Sheriff’s Office release surveillance camera images from the robberies — Friday, Oct. 25 at the CVS Pharmacy on Seven Hills Boulevard in Dallas, and Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Walmart store on Marietta Highway in Hiram — in hopes of identifying the robber(s).

In the CVS robbery, the sheriff’s office said a black male dressed in black clothes and wearing white gloves entered the store around 7 a.m. Friday. He allegedly used a black semi-automatic handgun to force the clerk into the manager’s office, where he forced the manager to open the safe. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At Walmart, a man with a similar description entered the store around 8:30 p.m. and handed a note to the clerk at the register closest to the exit. In the note, the suspect said he had a gun and a bomb and would use either weapon if the clerk didn’t hand over all the money from the register. A weapon was never shown in the robbery.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying the suspects. If you recognize the individual(s) in the photographs or have any information about either robbery, contact the Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 443-3015.
