Report: Dallas Man Charged With Leaving Puppy in Hot Car

A Dallas man was reportedly arrested in Acworth for leaving a puppy in a hot car for 45 minutes, the Marietta Daily-Journal reported.

Kenneth Denninger, Jr., was charged with animal cruelty in the June 7 incident, during which Cobb County Animal Control reported the temperature had reached 149 degrees inside the car.

Denninger also was charged with marijuana possession, the newspaper reported.
