“Customers are reporting individuals driving white pickup trucks with a GreyStone Power sticker or magnet, and claiming the customer has not paid their power bill,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook. “They will then try to collect money at the residence.”

GreyStone says it is against company policy to collect money in the field, so don’t fall for the scam.

If you believe you have been approached by a suspected scammer, call the sheriff’s office at 770-949-5656.
