Sheriff's Office Checking Up on Paulding Sex Offenders
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office hopes to verify where the county's sex offenders live before Halloween.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Georgia Sex Offender Task Force is participating in a Statewide Residence Verification of Registered Sex Offenders.
The goal is to verify the residence of every sex offender in Paulding County before Halloween.
Several teams have been dispatched throughout the county to verify residency of current registered sex offenders. Thus far, there have been 2 arrests in Paulding County for probation violations.

By Friday (10/30/15) all of the verifications will be completed.

Citizens are encouraged to visit the sex offender search page.
Citizens can enter their address and view the registered sex offenders for up to a 5 mile radius around their homes. Residents can also register to receive email alerts when a sex offender moves into the area along with other helpful features.
