Social Media Tips Lead to Paulding Vintage Car Theft Arrest
A 35 year old man is charged with stealing a 1970 Chevy Chevelle, a '70s-era motorcycle and other items.
DALLAS, GA — Paulding County authorities were thanking their social media followers on Tuesday after online tips helped lead to an arrest in the theft of a vintage car and other items.
Just over a week ago, the Paulding sheriff's office took to Facebook and other social media to report a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle and a 1970s-era Honda motorcycle had gone missing.
Other items also were stolen, the post said, including a vintage PURE gas sign and a black toolbox.

On Tuesday, the sheriff's office said it received an "overwhelming amount of tips" in regard to the post.
Detectives arrested Kendall Lynn Lawrence, 35, in connection with the crime, said sheriff's office spokesman Sgt. Ashley Henson.
