Pedestrian Killed, Four Injured After Car Jumps Curb

One person was killed and several others injured when a car jumped the curb near the Paulding County Courthouse, according to several reports.

One person has died and four others people were hurt in the incident midday Friday, according to the AJC.

The driver, Marlene Wilbur, 81, has been charged with 2nd degree vehicular homicide, according to Fox Atlanta.

The injured included two infant children and their mother, according to CBS46. The adult is in serious condition, but the children are OK, CBS reports.

The driver is reportedly an “elderly woman,” according to WSBTV. She remained at the scene following the wreck.
