Update: Jadyn's Shoe Search

Jadyn Thompson wants shoes for her birthday, not for herself but for kids in need. She turns 11 years old on March 27 and has been collecting shoes for a couple of weeks, already collecting 138 pairs.

"We have also gotten support from the Paulding County Coordinators Newsletter and Facebook page as well as a local restaurant Crossroads Grill," Tracey Thompson said, Jadyn's mother. "Jadyn has also received a great show of support from her school and her dance studio Ck, DanceWorks. Our goal is to collect 170 shoes or more before March 11."

She feels that collecting shoes for the Calvary Children’s Home is a wonderful way to bring happiness to the children who are less fortunate and to give back for the blessings that she has received. Jadyn also hopes that her act of charity will inspire others to do more for their communities, friends and families.
