East Paulding Students Invite Cops To A Ballgame

Public safety officers will be admitted free to the Raiders' game Friday night against Harrison.

DALLAS, GA — In a video they produced themselves, East Paulding High School students have invited local public safety officers to enjoy some Friday night lights for free.

In the video, the school's students, and principal, declare Friday night's season-opening football matchup with Harrison to be Public Safety Night.

"We are so thankful for all of your hard work and everything that you do," Principal Jason Freeman says in the video.

All public safety officers who are either in uniform or show a badge will get a free pass into the game, Freeman said.

At halftime of the game, there will be a public presentation with Paulding County Sheriff Gary Gulledge thanking law enforcement officers for their work.

The rest of the video features images of police, fire and other public safety workers doing their jobs, as well as a montage of different East Paulding students and students groups thanking officers for their service.

The game will be at East Paulding High School, 3320 East Paulding Dr., Dallas, GA 30157.
