The National Weather Service in Peachtree City, says the weekend will be mostly sunny in North Georgia, with only a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms. (see the forecast below)
Highs will be in the mid-80’s Saturday and Sunday and the chance of rain is no greater than 20 percent anywhere in the region (a greater chance comes next week).

- Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
- Saturday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
- Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
- Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. East wind around 5 mph.
- Sunday night: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.
- Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.
