Weekend Weather: You May Need Umbrella in Dallas, Hiram

May has been pretty dry so far in Georgia, but that could change this weekend, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

If you have outdoor activities planned, you might want to take along an umbrella.

Thunderstorms are in the forecast Friday night in Dallas and Hiram, with a 60-percent chance of rain Saturday and 50-percent on Sunday.

The weather service said we can expect lightning, gusty winds and small hail, but severe weather is not expected

Highs will be firmly in the 80s through the weekend.
