As a volunteer at what is still a kill shelter in Paulding County Animal Control, kitten season is my most dreaded time of the year. And here in the south, it is an especially long season, running from about April through October. Just a few quieter months, and then, it is April again! We want so much for Paulding to become a No Kill shelter, but the majority of our leadership is yet to see the importance of this. So - in the meantime, please share our pictures, and posts, please help bring all of the attention you can to the Paulding shelter pets. Their lives depend on our advertising them to the public for adoption or rescue.
These great cats and kittens are available for adoption. Tomorrow is Save a Life Tuesday, and all adoptions are just $10, to include the dogs too. Poor Zeus is probably our most urgent cat. The stress of shelter life is really getting to him, and he just doesn't know how to handle it.
