Back to School: Blessings Shared at Dorsett Shoals Elementary
Each year local churches practice on-site intercessions to bless the upcoming school year.

Submitted by DCSS
On Saturday, July 25th students, teachers, parents, and members of Prays Mill Baptist Church gathered at Dorsett Shoals Elementary School for the annual prayer walk. Each year local churches practice these on-site intercessions to bless the upcoming school year.
Specific prayers are asked for the students, staff members, parents, and the surrounding community. The prayer walk at Dorsett Shoals Elementary began at the front of the school building and eventually ended near the playground. Participants took turns praying for their school and community.

The focus of this walk will be on our community’s schools, including students, faculty, staff, administrators, and county-wide employees. This is a drop-in, self-guided walk and will be great for families and friends of all ages. Options are available for those who are unable to walk very far and all are welcome to join.
