BOLO: Man Allegedly Stole Power Tools From Walmart

Douglasville Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect in two thefts of yard equipment from a local Walmart.

Police posted a Be on the Lookout (BOLO) alert on Facebook with images of the man, described as a black male approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall.

Police said on April 27 around 1 a.m., the man is suspected in stealing four weed eaters from the Walmart store on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs. He was seen leaving the store in a gold Nissan Altima driven by another man.

Then, on April 28 around 12:30 a.m., the same man allegedly entered the same store and tried to steal two gas blowers from the garden center.

“The suspect attempts to pry and force the doors open. After the suspect is unable to open the doors, he places the blowers by the rear exit and returns to the door he was attempting to force open. The suspect damages the doors, tries to leave through emergency exits and is forced to leave through the main entrance.”

He also was seen leaving the area in a gold Altima driven by another man.
