A 71-year-old Georgia woman has been arrested after police say she attacked a pregnant U.S. Army soldier at a restaurant after a racially charged argument over a parking space escalated. The attack came after the woman's son allegedly called the victim and another soldier "black lesbian b----es."

The city of Alpharetta terminated the employment of an officer after it found he violated Department of Public Safety policies pertaining to handling traffic accidents, leaving his gun belt at a firing range and stopping at his house while on duty on multiple occasions.
Elderly Man Who Died In Fire May Have Been Looking For Dog: GCFD
The Gwinnett County Fire Department gave an update Monday on a fatal house fire Sunday in the 80 block of Bleeker Street, SW Lawrenceville. Gwinnett Fire said the man, in his 70s, may have been looking for his dog that also ended up dying in the fire.
