Penelope Davis Pop Up Arts Shop Opens @ the CAC

Every month the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County features the artwork of a local craftsman in the Pop Up Arts Shop. The CAC strives to connect the Douglasville community to affordable, locally created products, and is proud to welcome acrylic and mixed media artist Penelope Davis as August’s featured local creator! Specializing in a wide variety of original mixed media paintings, her works are both eye-catching and beautiful. Products will be available for purchase between August 3 - 31 at the CAC from 9 am - 5 pm. 

Penelope is a self-taught artist who has been painting for over 35 years.  She enjoys painting, drawing, and card making.  She is originally from South Carolina and now resides here in Georgia. Her favorite images to paint are whimsical faces and florals, but she finds inspiration in a wide variety of subjects.

The Pop Up Arts Shop is the place for amazing one-of-a-kind gifts created by local artists. Each month the CAC features a different artist that works with varying mediums. All items are under $75 so be sure to stop by the CAC for some amazing arts and crafts before they’re gone!
