Douglas County Happenings: Hydrangea Festival 5K Ready to Run

Time is running out for advance sign-ups for the Hydrangea Festival 5K Run on Sunday, June 7.

Entry is $30 now through May 25, then $35 until race day. Race-day registration begins at 6 a.m.; the race begins at 7 a.m.

The 5K begins and ends at the Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive in Douglasville.

The race runs through the streets of Douglasville, which will be decorated for the annual Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival. Hydrangeas will be presented to the top runners in several categories.
