In Memory: Harry Palmer Jiles, 69

He owned Best Carwash Equipment Services and installed for Automatic Carwash Services for many years.

Harry Palmer Jiles, age 69, of Carrollton passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. He was born on August 14, 1945 in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Tyre Ace Jiles and the late Edna Mae Bell Jiles. He owned Best Carwash Equipment Services and installed for Automatic Carwash Services for many years. He worked as a steel mechanic and tinkered with making many things for many people. He was a member of The New Beginnings Church of God in Villa Rica.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Marcelle Barker Jiles; son, Glenn Palmer Jiles of Villa Rica; son, Michael Keith Jiles and wife Janet of Douglasville; adoptive daughter, Deanna Kay Premo of Carrollton; sisters, Diane Colbert of Bremen, Linda Jane Pitts and husband Phillip of Greensboro, North Carolina; brothers, Jerry Jiles and wife Ann of Centre, Alabama, Larry Gene Jiles and wife Margaret of Carrollton, Tony Lee Jiles and wife Lee of Alabama; grandchildren, Crystle Marie Buchanan of Bremen, Miranda Lynn Jiles of Dallas, Cassandra Mae Jiles of Dallas; great-grandchild, Jacob Riley “Bucky” Buchanan of Bremen.

A funeral service was held at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Reverend William Cobb and Reverend Sam Locklear officiating. Tony Jiles, Jeff Jiles, Lonnie Staton, Jordan Buchanan, Kendall Dodson, Kevin Smallwood, Kenneth Smallwood and Tom Jones served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Riverview Memorial Park in Smyrna.

The family received friends on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
