Mary Jean Cochran Moss, age 39, of Winston, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 16, 1975, the daughter of Nancy Jeanie George Bowen, and the late Arthur N. Cochran, Jr. She was a 1994 graduate of Alexander High School. For the past 6 years, Mary has served as General Manager of the Irish Bred Pub in Douglasville. She was a Baptist by faith.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Doris and Arthur Cochran, Arthur Leonard Bowen, and Perry Paul George, Jr.

Survivors include three children: Jacob Thomas Moss, Shelby Leigh Moss, and Wyatt Shelton Moss, all of Winston; her mother and step-father, Jeanie and Shelton “Gene” Bowen of Winston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stacie Michelle Noseworthy of Winston, Dana Michelle and Lawrence Akers of Douglasville, and Rebecca Michelle and Terry Queen of Douglasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Shane Michael and Rachel Linn Cochran of Villa Rica, and Nathan David and Cyndi Bowen of Lithia Springs; grandparents: Franklin and Jean Smith Allen of Bremen, and Lonnie Mae Bowen of Douglasville; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many wonderful friends.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Pastor Josh Smith of Cowan Mill Church officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated.
