Sara Helen Wright, age 90, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was born in Douglasville, GA on August 27, 1924, the daughter of the late Riley Bragg and Clara Nix Bragg. She was a homemaker and attended Liberty Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. L. Wright and brothers, James Bragg and Jerry Bragg.

Survivors include her children; daughter Sylvia Ashcraft and husband, David; son Mike Wright and wife, Pat; granddaughters, Danielle Dawkins and husband, Shawn, Michelle Branton and Randy Lahti; Dawn Bruder and husband, Chris; and Katherine West and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Nathan West and Christopher West; Jonathan Land; Abigail Dawkins; Julian Dawkins; Stephanie Sanders; and Hannah Bruder; one great-great granddaughter, Karina Land; sisters, Louise Copeland; Madeline Ray and husband, Clovis; Martha Montgomery; Shirley Lowery and husband, Bobby; and Annette Payne and husband, Norman; brothers, Charles Bragg and Frankie Bragg and wife, Joanne, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 5, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00PM.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00AM at Liberty Baptist Church on Burnt Hickory Road in Douglasville with Reverend Terry Marbut officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service.
