Henry Lawrence “Dusty” Pitts, III, age 41, of Powder Springs, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. He was born in Austell, Georgia, on April 12, 1973, the son of Crystal Morris Pitts and the late Henry Lawrence “Hank” Pitts, Jr. He was a Landscaper and a member of the Powder Springs First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lawrence “Hank” Pitts, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Henry “Lawrence” Pitts; maternal grandmother, Virginia Feise; and maternal grandfather, Dr. Dank Morris.

Survivors include his mother, Crystal Morris Pitts, of Powder Springs; children, Hayley Pitts, Madi Pitts, and Anna Pitts; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Robert “Tripp” Norton of Charleston, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Doyl Langley Pitts of Powder Springs; aunt, Loretta Hall of Powder Springs; nieces, Sophia Norton and Katherine Norton; cousin, Tori Hall.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. from the Powder Springs First United Methodist Church with Reverend Roger Vest officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions for his children be made to the Dusty Pitts Memorial Fund c/o United Community Bank, 6670 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
