- Douglas County Courthouse and all County offices are closed Wednesday.The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Douglas County Fire/EMS, E911, Emergency Management, DOT and Communications will be active during the storm.
- Douglas County Rideshare vans will not operate Wednesday - Friday.
- Douglas County School System schools are closed Wednesday.
- City of Douglasville Municipal Court is closed on Wednesday; all cases will be rescheduled.
- Georgia Power: Douglasville Business Office at 8700 Campbellton Street closed at 11 a.m. Wednesday to allow our employees to get home safely. The payment office in Austell, 2525 Old Alabama Road, was to close at 1 p.m. Thursday closings will be decided later. Customers can call customer service at 1-888-891-0938 to report outages, and use the outage map at www.georgiapower.com under the Outage and Storm Center tab to report and find information about outages.
- 25th Anniversary Fundraising Breakfast Honoring 25 SHARE House Champions (Thursday, 7:30 a.m.) postponed until new date is determined.
- Lithia Springs United Methodist Church Wednesday evening services have been canceled.
