• Betty Jane Thrash (chattanoogan.com) — Fairburn is gently touched by this obituary through resident Glennie Cope, the sister-in-law of Betty Jane Thrash, who passed away August 15 in Tyler, Texas. The tribute remembers Betty's deep faith, love of family, and active life, and notes a September 11 graveside service in Tennessee for friends and relatives to honor her memory.
