Man charged with aggravated assault after shots fired into homes on Baldwin Street (wtvm.com) — LaGrange police say a man has been charged with aggravated assault after multiple shots were fired into both an occupied and an unoccupied home on Baldwin Street early August 30. Officers arrested Travis L. Towns after a brief foot chase, also charging him with drug and obstruction offenses. Investigators are still working the case and asking residents with information to contact Detective Hutcheson or submit anonymous tips via Tip411.

(lagrangenews.com) — LaGrange softball fans just saw junior pitcher Dakota McDaniel dominate in a 2-1 home win over Heard County, striking out 10 and allowing no earned runs. Coming off an earlier loss to the same opponent and a recent defeat to Starr's Mill, the Grangers used strong pitching and timely offense to bounce back at home.
3. Flock camera debate draws scrutiny after Lee County, LaGrange incidents (wtvm.com) — A LaGrange police officer is under investigation over potential misuse of Flock license plate cameras, raising local questions about how this surveillance technology is handled.
