Candlelight Valentine’s Dinner at Waffle House

This Valentine’s Day, scattered, smothered and covered is for lovers.

Waffle House, the Norcross-based breakfast-food chain, will be taking reservations for candle-lit dinners for “It’s A Waffle House Love Story.” The promotion is in its ninth year.

Breaking out the white table cloths and candles is quite a departure for the chain, known for its 24-hour availability and fast-casual service. But it’s clearly a hit with the chain’s legions of waffle-loving fans. >>>read more.

Brewery Ships Emergency Drinking Water To Flint, Mich.

Anheuser-Busch is providing 2,156 cases of emergency drinking water — or 51,744 cans — for residents of Flint, Michigan in need of clean drinking water.

Anheuser-Busch’s Cartersville brewery will send a truck loaded with water to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, which is supplying water to area residents in need.

“Anheuser-Busch is committed to supporting local communities,” said Bill Bradley, vice president of Community Affairs for Anheuser-Busch. “This is one way we can help our friends and neighbors in a time of need.” >>>read more.
